Workshop: Understanding financial statements – certified for CPD – Sep/Oct 2015
Financial statements are essential to understanding business. The aim of this workshop is to provide non-financial delegates with practical skills in using accounting data to make decisions, and in reading financial statements (Management Accounts and Annual Financial Statements).
This workshop is suitable for entrepreneurs, managers, professionals, staff, bookkeepers and other users of financial statements.
This one-day workshop will use the three main statements – Income Statement, Statement of Financial Position and Cash Flow Statement – to manage the cash flow cycle from purchases to banking the cash.
By the end of the workshop, candidates will be able to efficiently read the main financial statements, and using a number of key figures, develop a story line of the effectiveness of business in generating sales revenue through to cash flow.
